PERFORMANCE: DIOGO DE HARO, musician. Proposal:
to make music using the house utensils: glasses, dishes, bottles, cutlery,
etc.
TAPESTRY - hand made by Cecilia Vilela, mother of the artist. It
is a reproduction of a work by Wassily Kandinsky (Passage with bull,
1908).
TELEVISION - of the 70s, it plays distorted images with the volume of
the TV channels on.
LETTERS - The writer Eduardo Jorge from Belo Horizonte - MG, proposed
an intervention in the house. He writes letters to the house and sends
them by post.
TELEPHONE - The artist Cynthia Pimenta, from Sao Paulo - SP and Tio
André, from Sao José do Rio Preto - SP, from time to time make phone
calls to the House. Whoever passes by the living room can answer the
phone and have a conversation.
In a small coffee table there is a vase (Bico-de-Papagaio), a toy and
a notebook for comments. |

Living Room

The house has a living room. Entry and exit door; centre and passage.
Repercussion box: dinner set turns into sound device.
People scattered in the couches,Diogo de Haro pokes glasses, smooths
dishes, invades bowls. Sound and fury. The living room is an open book
for inscriptions of flat images from an old TV, worn, manifestations
of nothing. The phone rings and on the other end of the line the unexpected
asks: Who is this house? Who does the music? And in the end What happens
there? It's a nuts house, that's why it doesn't have a name or an owner.
It's simply The HOUSE/CASA. |

Sala

A CASA tem sala. Porta de entrada e
saída; centro e passagem. Caixa de reverberação: utensílios de jantar
reviram-se em aparelho sonoro. Gente se espalha pelo sofá, Diogo de
Haro cutuca copos, alisa pratos, invade cumbucas. Som e fúria. Sala
é livro aberto para inscrições com TV de outrora de imagens lisas, corridas,
manifestações do nada. O telefone toca e o inesperado do outro lado
pergunta de quem é esta casa, quem faz música, afinal de contas, o que
se passa ali? É casa de maluco, por isso mesmo não tem nome nem dono.
É simplesmente, a CASA.
